AWRE welcomes VWMA as supporting partner
The Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE), Australia’s only dedicated Expo for the waste, recycling and resource recovery industry, today announced Victorian Waste Management Association (VWMA) as a new supporting partner.
The VWMA is the key division of the Victorian Transport Association representing the waste and recycling sectors.
As a member based, not for profit association that aims to be the leading association for recycling and waste management in Victoria, the VWMA works to promote best practice and the highest industry standards by providing member services and advice on industrial relations, occupational health and safety issues and environmental regulations.
Adding to the AWRE Education Program and in association with long term supporting partner the Waste Contractors and Recycling Association (NSW), the VWMA will deliver informed analyses of high level waste policy issues.
“VWMA represents its members, advocating and lobbying on their behalf on issues and policies affecting them via key relationships with relevant Government agencies, the wider waste industry and the public.
Our partnership with AWRE in 2017 provides us with a wide reaching opportunity to extend our collective expertise to a wider segment of the waste and resource recovery community,” advised Andrew Tytherleigh, Executive Officer of the VWMA.
Celebrating its 8th year, AWRE 2017 will bring together specialist companies from around the globe to exhibit their products, while the AWRE Education Program will feature experts from both government and leading companies providing input on how industry, government and waste generators should continue to work together to improve efficiency and drive innovation.
The Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from August 23 to 24 2017. For further information visit www.awre.com.au
The Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo is supported by its key industry partner, the Waste Management Association of Australia. Supporting partners include the Australian Organics Recycling Association, Waste Contractors & Recyclers Association of NSW and Australasian Fleet Managers Association.
