Registrations are now open for the 10th annual Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE) taking place on 30-31 October at ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour.
The need for new and better waste solutions has never been more crucial. Australians are looking towards the waste and recycling industry to drive positive change. As the premier business event for the waste, recycling and resource recovery sector, AWRE is where the best come together to join forces for a world of solutions towards a cleaner, more sustainable future. With close to 3,000 waste management professionals, business leaders and government representatives expected to attend the two-day live event.
From cutting-edge innovations to offset China’s National Sword Policy to second life manufacturing, AWRE 2019 promises to be the ultimate showcase of the waste and recycling industry.
Attendees can expect to discover a world of solutions from industry leaders like Isuzu Australia, Smartsensor, Wastemaster Pacific, WTT Australia and many more. Showcasing innovative products, sustainable solutions and cutting-edge technology to collect, process and recycle waste across machinery & equipment, software & technology, bins, vehicles, food & organics, and more.
Alongside the established Industry Forum stage, presented in partnership with NSW EPA, AWRE is excited introduce the ‘Food Waste Stage’ as part of the expanded and popular 2019 Speaker Series program. Facilitating discussion and a focus on the national issue that is food waste, as well as highlighting the role of packaging in minimising food waste and opportunities that exist in recycling our organic materials. Featured speakers will include food waste pioneers like Katy Barfield, Founder & CEO, Yume Food Australia, Ronni Kahn, CEO & Founder, OzHarvest and Dr Steven Lapidge, CEO, Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre.
The 2019 Speaker Series Program and Speakers will be announced in August.
