Helen Millicer

One Planet Consulting

Helen Millicer, GAICD, Churchill Fellow, is one of the first in Australia to implement measures to transition Australia to a more circular low emissions economy. Her work in senior roles and advice to national and state governments and industry sectors was boosted with her Churchill international scholarship in 2018. She consults nationally on plastics, EPR stewardship programs, government and industry policies, strategies and programs. Helen was key strategist and author for the Australian Government’s Enabling Design for Environmental Good project and is currently supporting the Australian Food and Grocery Council implement an EPR scheme for plastics. Helen has a long distinguished career as director on boards with associations, manufacturers and is on the inaugural Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board. Helen is expert advisor to the CRC Plastic bid, convenor of the national SPE Circular Plastics Conference and a regular commentator in media. She is the co-founder of ClimateWise Associations Australia, a program helping Australian associations address climate risk and reduce emissions. She holds qualifications in governance, business management and carbon accounting, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Fellow of the Churchill Trust.
