The mission of the inaugural AWRE Awards is to shine a spotlight on the waste, recycling and resource recovery industry’s latest innovative solutions, and the individuals and companies leading them. Through recognising and celebrating the trailblazers of innovation and new end market solutions, we aim to foster a platform to drive a thriving and sustainable resource recovery system in Australia.
Our judging panel of industry experts will consider the originality and impact of the innovation, whether the waste industry can genuinely benefit from the product, as well as likely uptake and applicability in the Australian market.
The Awards was announced at Seminar Theatre 1 on the exhibition floor on Wednesday 26 July 2023, following on from our exciting Pitch Fest.
