Speaker Profile

Phoebe has worked in the NSW Government across contaminated sites, waste and resource recovery, biodiversity and land management since studying science and law. She was seconded into the Office of the NSW Minister for Environment and Heritage. After pursuing an opportunity to work for a Judge at the Land and Environment Court of NSW, Phoebe returned to the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) in 2016 as a Unit Head setting up Return and Earn, NSW’s beverage container deposit scheme. She is now Manager Policy in the Circular Economy Policy team at the NSW EPA and leads work on plastics and in product stewardship including batteries, solvents and packaging.
