Stop by Seminar Theatre 1 to hear Innovation Zone exhibitors pitch the latest and greatest waste and circular economy solutions.

24 - 25 July 2024
Seminar Theatre 1
12:30pm - 3:00pm

Returning after a successful first-run in 2022, the Innovations Pitch Fest is back in 2023, providing a showcase opportunity for the waste and recycling industry’s latest innovative solutions presented by the individuals and companies leading them. This is your chance as a visitor to be privy to waste solutions and products before they even hit-the market, giving you the upper hand to be more competitive in the rapidly growing waste sector.

Judged by a panel of industry experts, the Innovation Pitch Fest will take place in Seminar Theatre 1 on the show floor featuring a line-up of our 2023 Innovation Zone exhibitors. Directly after the pitch, our judges will provide instant feedback on a number of criteria, including consumer need, innovation, point of difference, go-to market strategy and product sustainability.

The Pitch Process

The Pitch Fest runs during the AWRE expo. Finalists will present their pitch live on stage to visitors and the judging panel. Each presentation will be 5 minutes long, with a total of 16 sessions. Our esteemed panel of judges will then break to deliberate and then return to provide feedback and announce the winner.

Pitch time!

Each entrant will be judged based on various criteria to our visitor audience of waste professionals, including the impacts of the innovation, originality, practicality, sustainability and circular principles, viability and future thinking.

The prize package includes a 3x3m stand at the next AWRE, actionable insights from our judges on the day and much more to be announced. The winner will also be featured in a blog on the AWRE website, plus shared on AWRE's social media channels. *T&C's apply
