Celebrating 10 years of AWRE

It’s been 10 years since AWRE committed to showcasing the very best solutions that the Waste, Recycling and Resource Recovery sector has to offer. We would like to thank all the exhibitors who keep coming back year on year and share our passion for connecting the industry to find solutions to create a truly circular economy.

We would like to give a very special mention to Sierra Asia Pacific who have been exhibiting at AWRE for the past eight years! Sierra Asia Pacific are the official distributor for the Sierra range of scrap metal processing machines in Australasia. Founded in 2006 the company has grown to offer an extensive range of metal processing machines, balers and loggers.

With only 2 weeks until AWRE opens its doors for the 10^th time, we caught up with Sierra Asia Pacific to get an insight into what has kept them coming back to AWRE for the past eight years.

Q. Why do you see the importance of exhibiting at AWRE?

A. As a specialised show for Waste, Recycling and Resource Recovery professionals, AWRE brings the industry together. You don’t get the opportunity in any other place to showcase what’s new by way of equipment and process.

 Q. As one of our longest running exhibitors, why do you see the value in coming back each year to AWRE?

A. At Sierra Asia Pacific we are passionate about supporting the industry we are involved in. AWRE gives us the opportunity to do this not only by connecting us with clients but allowing us to contribute to the education of the wider industry.

Q. How has AWRE changed over the years?

A. Over the years we have seen AWRE grow to incorporate a whole host of new exhibitors showcasing quality products to support the waste and recycling industry.

Q. What changes have you seen in the industry since you started exhibiting at AWRE?

A. When we first entered the industry, technology was not really a priority but like many industries in today’s world technology is becoming more and more important. We have seen the waste industry evolve to work with new technologies to manage and improve work place efficiencies.

 Q. How has your product, brand or service evolved/changed since you started exhibiting at AWRE?

A. Our brand philosophy has remained the same, but our product range has expanded to meet market demands and introduce new products.
